Sustainability is high on our agenda at GSD. We want to take our share of responsibility and contribute to solving global health and sustainability challenges.

We do this by developing healthier foods, reducing food waste and launching new products that represent good environmental choices in everyday life. For several years, we have been committed to preserving the rainforest and we work purposefully to avoid that the raw materials we use in GSD's products contribute to deforestation.

In our sustainability strategy, we have set clear goals for our work towards 2025 and we have highlighted five main areas where GSD's contribution is important both for society and for our long-term value creation. Sustainable growth is the new norm for business. As a large Nordic company, we at GSD have a responsibility to take the lead in our industry. In good company with Global Compact companies around the world, we put the new UN Sustainable Development Goals on the agenda in 2015. We have personally signed a commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
